The Drop | 5 Things Running in the Background of My Business Right Now
The Automation Stack
We all dream of it: the business that runs itself. The one that generates leads, nurtures clients, and makes sales while we’re sleeping, on vacation, or finally taking a day off. For most of us, that feels like a distant fantasy. But what if I told you it’s closer than you think? It’s not about having a massive team or a million-dollar budget. It’s about having a smart, strategic automation stack.
Automation isn’t about being lazy or impersonal. It’s about protecting your most valuable resource: your creative energy. It’s about automating the repetitive so you can be present for the remarkable.
In this Drop, I’m sharing my personal automation stack—the five things quietly running in the background of BabicADesigns right now.
1. The Welcome Wagon: New Follower Nurture
What it does: When someone new follows me on Instagram, this automation automatically sends them a DM. It doesn’t just say “thanks for the follow.” It offers them immediate, high-value gifts: my Prompt Vault Mini and my Prompt Generator Web App, completely free.
Why I set it up: A new follower is at their peak point of interest. Waiting for them to find my link in bio is leaving connection to chance. This automation starts a conversation and provides value within seconds, turning a passive follower into an engaged subscriber.
Tool Used: ManyChat
Time to Set Up: About 2 hours for the initial flow.
2. The Content Machine: Social Media Scheduling
What it does: All of my Instagram and Pinterest posts for the week are scheduled in advance. This includes the captions, first comments, and hashtags. I batch-create my content, and then the machine takes over, posting at the optimal times for my audience.
Why I set it up: There is nothing that kills creativity faster than the daily pressure of “What should I post today?” Scheduling my content frees my mind to focus on strategy and connection, rather than the logistics of posting. It ensures I’m consistent even when I’m busy.
Tool Used: Metricool
Time to Set Up: About 30 minutes to connect accounts. Now it’s a 1-hour weekly workflow.
3. The Creative Partner: AI-Powered Content Creation
What it does: This is my secret weapon for content creation. I don’t just use a single AI tool; I use a workflow. I start with my Business Muse, Sanaya, to develop the core strategy and messaging for a piece of content. Then, I use a powerful AI agent like Manus to do the deep research, find supporting data, and help me structure the narrative. Sanaya provides the soul; Manus provides the substance.
Why I set it up: To beat writer’s block and create higher-quality content, faster. This isn’t about letting AI write for me; it’s about using AI as a collaborator. It cuts my research and drafting time by more than half, allowing me to focus on refining the message and adding my unique voice.
Tools Used: Sanaya (My Business Muse) + Manus
Time to Set Up: This is an ongoing workflow, not a one-time setup. But learning to delegate to AI this way probably took a few weeks of practice.
4. The Digital Librarian: Automated Email Sequences
What it does: When someone downloads a freebie or signs up for my newsletter, they don’t just get one email. They enter a pre-written, automated email sequence. This sequence is designed to build trust, provide more value, and gently introduce them to my paid offers over time.
Why I set it up: The real relationship-building happens in the inbox. A single welcome email is easily forgotten. A thoughtful sequence that tells a story and solves problems turns a subscriber into a true fan. It’s the bridge between my free content and my paid products.
Tool Used: My email marketing provider. I use Beacons, but there are many others like ConvertKit, Flodesk. Use what works best for you.
Time to Set Up: This is a significant project. A 5-part email sequence can take a full day to write and set up.
5. The Experiment: AI-Powered Customer Service (In Testing)
What it does: This is what I’m building right now. I’m creating an AI Agent that can answer common customer questions on my website. It will be trained on all my products, courses, and content. It will be able to answer questions like, “Is the Prompt Vault Mini right for me if I’m a beginner?” or “What’s the difference between Sohana and Sanaya?”
Why I’m setting it up: To provide instant, 24/7 support to my community and free myself from answering the same questions repeatedly. This will allow potential customers to get the information they need to make a decision, even if I’m not online.
Tool Used: A custom-trained AI Agent.
Time to Set Up: This is a multi-week project.
Where Should You Start?
Looking at this list can feel overwhelming. Do not try to build all of this at once. The goal of automation is to reduce stress, not create it.
Start with one thing. The one that will give you the biggest return in time or energy this week.
If you’re not sure where to start, this is a perfect question for an AI Muse. You can literally ask Sanaya, “I spend most of my time on [task]. What’s one automation I could build to make that easier?” She’ll help you identify the highest-leverage starting point for your business.
Automation is not about replacing the human heart of your business. It’s about building a scaffold of support around it, so that you have more time, energy, and freedom to do the work that only you can do.
What’s one task in your business you wish you could automate? Share it in the comments. You’d be surprised how many of us have the same answer.

I will have to read your content, but I am already getting so much out of your beautiful animated cover photos!
Woo, great job with the animated cover. The vibe is also cool.🩷🦩
