Start here: What this publication is (really) about
The honest version. With coffee. The Soulful Balkanish wAI (way + AI)
The internet is full of AI newsletters.
Most of them sound like they were written by the tools they’re reviewing. Efficient. Optimized. Soulless.
This isn’t one of those.
Hi. I’m Anita.
I’m a brand designer and strategist. I grew up as the daughter of Croatian immigrants in Germany — always somewhere between two cultures, two languages, two ways of seeing the world.
I wrote a novel (Marlene & Alberto — yes, all 356 pages). I drink coffee at hours that would concern most doctors. And I believe the best brands aren’t built with templates — they’re built with truth.
A few years ago, I started experimenting with AI. Not to replace creativity, but to amplify it. And I realized something: most people don’t need another list of 50 AI tools. They need someone who shows them how to use these tools in a way that actually fits their life, their brand, their voice.
That’s what this space is.
What you’ll find here
This publication has three series. Each one has a different energy, but they all come from the same place: the belief that strategy without soul is just noise.
The Drop (every Tuesday)
This is the practical one. AI tools, workflows, strategies — explained like I’m showing a friend over coffee. No jargon. No “10x your productivity” nonsense. Just things that actually work, broken down so you can use them today.
Good starting points:
•How I Use Manus to Plan My Entire Content Week
•The Beginner’s Guide to AI Agents
The Gentle Note (every other Thursday)
This is the personal one. Letters about identity, belonging, building something meaningful, and the messy middle of figuring it all out. The kind of writing you read slowly — maybe at midnight, maybe with a glass of wine. No frameworks. Just honesty.
Good starting points:
•The Question My Baka Would Have Asked You
•Why We Need to Stop Taking Our Business So Seriously
Creator System Series (every other Thursday)
This is the playful one. AI experiments that make you go “wait — I can do THAT?” I take a creative idea, throw AI at it, and document what happens. Sometimes it’s brilliant. Sometimes it’s beautifully weird. Always fun.
Good starting points:
•From One Image to a Mini Love Story (how I accidentally made a Pixar-style film)
•The Night My Grandmother’s Voice Showed Up in My Content Strategy
Who reads this
People who want to build something — a brand, a business, a creative project — and want AI to help without taking over.
Many readers are women in their 30s, 40s, and beyond. Smart, curious, ambitious — but allergic to hustle culture and “scale at all costs” advice.
If you’ve ever googled an AI tool, felt overwhelmed after 3 minutes, and closed the tab — you’re in the right place.
If you’ve ever felt like your ideas are too big for the boxes people keep offering you — even more so.

If you’re new here
Start with this guide:
The Beginner’s Guide to AI Agents
A practical introduction to how AI agents work and how they can support modern digital work.
How this works
Everything here is free. Always.
I publish on Tuesdays and every other Thursday. You subscribe, it lands in your inbox. No algorithm deciding if you’re worthy of seeing it.
If something I write makes you think, smile, or saves you an afternoon of trial and error — there’s a little tip jar at the bottom of each post. Think of it as buying me a coffee. (Fair warning: I’ll probably drink it at 11 PM.)
One more thing
I’d genuinely love to know what brought you here. What are you building? What are you stuck on? What’s the thing you keep thinking about at 2 AM?
Hit reply on any email. I read every single one.
This space isn’t a broadcast. It’s a conversation. And I’m glad you’re part of it.
— Anita
P.S. — If you’re the kind of person who scrolled all the way to the bottom, we’re definitely going to get along 😊
